Nesting!

We had a busy weekend! Josh and I had child birth class all day on Saturday from 9am-4pm. So we dropped ESPN off at Nana and Papa Stuttman's house so he would not have to be home all day alone. He got to go all over with Papa and run errands, which meant lots of car rides, his favorite!

After class Mom, Dad, Josh and I went to Ottawa Beach Inn for dinner. It was awesome, we got to sit right by the window and had a great view of the lake!

On Sunday afternoon Mom and Dad came and helped Josh and I do somethings around the house. Dad and Josh washed the outside of the house and all the windows.

They also trimmed some trees and Mom and Dad gave Josh and I a wonderful gift! A beautiful Hydrangea bush which they planned as well.

Then Mom and I did all the windows on the inside, and washed curtains. All those silly things that need to be done.
Dad and Josh also put up the vinyl words in the nursery. Then Josh and I put up the polka dots! The nursery is all most done. We just need to get curtains and put them up. As well as paint the closet doors. Then everything will be ready for Petunia to come!

Today I packed a lunch for us and Josh and I went to the beach it was a beautiful day.

Tonight I just made a double batch of Banana bread and chocolate chip cookies.

(Don't mind my gross pans they get used a lot)

I would have to say I am nesting! I am getting very excited for this little girl to come soon!!!!

Questions...

As the date gets closer and closer to my due date, I am starting to get a little nervous. Can I do this? will she be ok? What if I have to have a C-section? Will I know I am in labor? Will I be a good Mom? Will we give her the right name? So many questions keep flooding my head all the time. Due to my ever growing belly it is getting harder and harder to sleep, and now with all these questions it is making it even harder to sleep. I know these are all normal things to think.

I have been working hard on trying to get the nursery all ready. My mom has been a big help. She volunteered to wash everything for me. I think she has about 5 loads of laundry to do. I never realized there were so many things that had to be washed for such a little baby. It is fun to pick all the places where things are going to go in her room. It is really starting to look like a little girls room, now that her bedding is here.

I had my first baby shower last week Saturday and I have my second one this afternoon. Which I am so excited about. It is so fun to see all the cute little baby things that I will soon be able to use. I will do a post about my showers soon with pictures too!

I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!

More Questions...

I know I don't need to pack yet...but I was wondering what are things you want to take to the hospital in your overnight bag?
I know there are things I need as well as Josh and the baby. I would love any help you could give me.

Thanks!

$$$

Saving Money is my new found love!!!!
My friend Katie has gotten me into coupons. I went with her one day to Target and she got a ton of stuff and paid very little. So I thought I should give this a try. I spend about an hour a week maybe less on-line printing coupons and clipping them out of the Sunday papers.

Walgreens
Huggies Diapers
2 Dial Mens body washes

My total with tax before coupons was $25.81
After my coupons I paid with tax $6.88

Target
4 packages of huggies Wipes
1 pack huggies diapers
2 huge boxes of Pampers diapers
2 Scrubbing bubbles toilet cleaning gels
1 Scrubbing bubbles toilet brush
1 Scrubbing bubbles toilet refill pack

My total with tax before coupons $76.64
After my coupons I paid with tax $40.16

plus I also got 2 $5.00 target gift cards for next time ;)

Walgreens
2 Zip lock bags
1 package plates
2 sticks Men deodrant
1 mens body wash
1 roll tin foil
2 Lysol toliet bowl cleaners

My total with tax before coupons $26.22
After my coupons I paid with tax $6.94

I get deals like this every week or so. It's really so easy, it just takes a little time! I uses two sites called Savings Addiction and West Michigan Mommy. They do all the hard work for me! They match up the weekly sales ads with coupons to save me money! The best part of these websites is they are free.

If you have questions let me know I am still very new to this but I will try my best.

Petunia up-date

Today I had an appointment with Dr. G. Everything is going really well. I am measuring 30 weeks which I one week ahead of where I am. Her heart beat was 147 today and she was moving all over like always.
I passed my glucose test with flying colors. They wanted my glucose to be less than 140 and mine was 109.
Now I get to go to the Doctor every two weeks for the next few appointments, then once I reach 36 weeks then I go every week.
